Enable the Developers Menu:
Settings > More > About Device
Now … find the BUILD number and tap it SEVEN TIMES

Turn on Power Saving mode:
Settings > My Device > Power Saving mode
check all three boxes to save battery life

Switch camera settings to be 13mpix and it then will use the more typical 4:3 aspect ratio as well as give the highest quality photos

To view a photo on a larger screen:
Since we have Samsung TV with AllShare we can use the phones Screen Mirroring – just turn it on and wait for it to find your device

Blocking mode (for calls etc)
Settings > My Device > NOW it will block all calls etc unless they are on your preset list of approved callers – plus can also block alarms and even the LED – PLUS can set it to block only during set hours (like at night)

Settings > My Device > Call — can set up call rejection

Fast Motion and Slow Motion video – open the camera app – tap settings icon – touch video camera icon –

Adapt Sound
Settings > My Device > Sound – scroll all the way down
make sure to have your headphone on

Outside in sun – if trouble reading screen – try turning on AUTO setting
